Yesterday we unpacked the power dynamics of staking. Today, we dive into its next evolution: restaking and liquid staking.
With protocols like EigenLayer, users can now “restake” their ETH—earning multiple layers of rewards by securing more than one network. Sounds great… until a bug, slash, or exploit wipes it all out. Liquid staking? It lets you keep trading while earning, but it adds new dependencies and systemic risks.
The yield’s tempting—but know the tradeoffs. Complexity always comes at a cost.
Tomorrow, we’ll pivot to stable yield strategies that don’t require stacking risk on risk.
