This week I sat down with Charlie Sykes on To the Contrary, to share my firsthand observations from inside our immigration courts—what I witnessed there was chilling. The ICE tactics. The fear. These are not isolated incidents—they are part of a larger, alarming pattern. We also discussed the threats we face here at home and across the world.

It’s become something of a tradition. A moment of reflection. A reminder of what leadership once looked like in the GOP.
In case you’re wondering: yes, Lincoln’s still there. Though some days, I half expect him to walk out in protest. Or worse…be replaced by a golden statue of Trump.
