** "There was a power outage in Spain. They're not a 100% sure yet - they're still investigating - but what it appears caused that outage was an extremely heavy reliance on solar with no grid or mechanical inertia to dampen swings in the frequencies."

Greenpeace goons are not above the law.
** Washington Times ([link removed])
(6/18/25) op-ed: "When Greenpeace lost a recent $660 million case over its organization of a violent pipeline protest, the most unusual part of the story was neither the jury confirming that environmental organizations do this sort of thing all the time (they do) nor the size of the verdict (although that was impressive). The most interesting part of the story was that an energy company and its top executive had finally stood up to the strong-arm tactics routinely employed by professional environmental political operatives and grifters rather than caving to their ridiculous demands...Groups such as Greenpeace don’t care about energy shortages, lost jobs or the lives destroyed by economic calamities, but some energy executives, including Mr. Warren, do. In a 2017 interview, Mr. Warren said, 'Everybody is afraid of these environmental groups and the fear that it may look wrong if you fight back with these people…What they did to us is wrong, and they’re going to pay for it.' Although
environmental organizations can peacefully protest, they are not allowed to create violence, damage private property or knowingly market lies. For years, groups such as Greenpeace have based their campaigns and strategies around the belief that they can do whatever they like and companies will eventually fold. Thanks to Mr. Warren, they have discovered that the laws, including the law of gravity, also apply to them."
The RINOs in the Senate will not prevail with their backtracking.

(6/18/25) reports: "Advancing American Freedom (AAF) urged Senate Republicans not to back down on ending the Green New Deal in its review of the Senate’s text of the One Big, Beautiful Bill (OBBB), according to a document obtained by the Daily Caller. The text reveals multiple 'negative changes' from the one passed by the House of Representatives, including a 'softer' approach to the Green New Deal...American Energy Alliance President Thomas Pyle joined AFF in criticizing the Senate text’s approach. 'This directly contradicts President Trump’s campaign pledge to "terminate the Green New Scam,"' he said in a statement. 'The Senate should not water down the House’s plan to quickly repeal the Biden-era green giveaways, which — if not repealed — would add trillions to the deficit and increase the cost of energy for hard-working families.' 'There is nothing beautiful about a Big Beautiful Bill that is loaded with special interest corporate welfare,' Pyle finished."

(6/18/25) op-ed: "It comes as a surprise to many Americans when they learn that the vast majority of decisions issued by the U.S. Supreme Court are decided unanimously. Far too often, these unanimous decisions receive scant attention in the press due to their lack of controversy. Such is the case with a key 8-0 decision the Court published May 29 that could help Congress and the Trump administration meet their goals to streamline permitting for energy projects in the United States. The decision narrows the scope of application of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), a law whose environmental review provisions have been systematically used – and often abused – by climate alarm groups and plaintiff lawyers for decades to impede the progress of major projects of all kinds...In its analysis of the decision, the Institute for Energy Research says, in part, that the 'decision means that agencies can approve projects like pipelines, railways, and dams and not be mandated to consider
distant environmental effects of the projects, such as increased greenhouse gas emissions, that had stopped or delayed fossil fuel projects from moving forward, particularly during the Biden administration.' But, the author cautions, 'the Uinta Basin Railway project could still face additional legal and regulatory hurdles within Colorado,' despite the ruling."
