Population Growth Among Local Units in 2024
From 2023 to 2024, 21 of Ottawa County’s 24 local government units saw their population grow. The biggest population increase was in Jamestown Township, which saw its population grow by 2.7%. Grand Haven Township saw 1.9% growth, and Blendon Township saw 1.7% growth.
Of the local units who saw their population decline, the Village of Spring Lake saw the biggest loss with a -0.3% decline. The City of Zeeland saw the next biggest decline with a -0.2% loss.
