Next week, from June 22–25, hundreds of AFSP Volunteer Advocates from across the country will come together for our 16th Annual Advocacy Forum in Washington, D.C., to learn about and advocate for life-saving federal policies.
Each year, the Advocacy Forum is a crucial opportunity for Volunteer Advocates to join educational sessions about AFSP’s key legislative and public policy priorities, and to visit in person with members of Congress on Capitol Hill to ask for their support.
This year, those not attending the forum in person will have the opportunity to join our Virtual Advocacy Forum on Tuesday, July 1, at 1pm ET. The Virtual Forum will include recordings of educational sessions, speeches from invited speakers, and the Allies in Action Awards ceremony. Advocates not joining us in D.C. will be able to lend their support by viewing the recorded sessions and emailing their members of Congress as part of our Forum Action Alert.
✨ Inspiring Speakers: Hear from leaders driving change in mental health advocacy. 📚 Educational Sessions: Learn from experts about key issues shaping our mission. 🏆 Celebrations: Join us as we honor outstanding legislative champions.
Plus, our Policy & Advocacy team will be ready to answer your questions and connect with you in real time throughout the Virtual Advocacy Forum broadcast.
