As conflict and displacement uproot millions of people in Sudan, MSF remains one of the few humanitarian aid organizations providing lifesaving nutrition care. In 2024 alone, thanks to the support of this community, we treated over 7,200 children under five, as well as pregnant or breastfeeding women, for severe malnutrition in South Darfur. |
Hundreds of thousands of people displaced by recent violence in DRC are leaving camps in Goma, and facing deep uncertainty about what lies ahead. MSF has set up mobile clinics along key routes and is assessing needs in newly populated areas. At the same time, teams continue to provide vital care in the camps—treating cholera and malnutrition, distributing clean water and food, and reinforcing sanitation.

Along migration routes in southern Mexico and Central America, MSF provides more than basic medical care—our teams also offer psychological first aid to people facing extreme trauma. Between September and November 2024 alone, MSF conducted 855 consultations for migrants traveling in caravans through Chiapas, Oaxaca, and Veracruz.
