** Let’s Make this the Biggest Vacaville Pride ever

Friends -

The Vacaville City Council voted 4-3 to approve a Pride Proclamation for June. We can show our UNANIMOUS support for Vacaville’s LGBTQ+ community by showing up for Vacaville Pride in The Park on June 22! The celebration will be held at Andrews Park, Vacaville from 12 pm - 3 pm.

Our team has also been Chris-crossing six counties to celebrate Pride in our beautiful and vibrant Senate District 3. Thank you to everyone who organized and volunteered this month to celebrate love and inclusivity. Here are some highlights:

Mark Pulido is a candidate for State Assembly District 67. He is a seasoned public servant with experience in local, state, and federal government. He was a state Senate District Director and most recently District Chief of Staff to Congressman Alan Lowenthal (Ret.). California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. appointed Mark to serve on the California Volunteers Commission from 2013 to 2017, the Board of Directors of the California Science Center and Exposition Park from 2017 to 2019. He currently serves as a City Councilmember in Cerritos.

Your support will help ensure we send a strong, principled voice to the Assembly, especially someone who understands the issues we Californians care about. Join me in support of Mark on June 30th in Napa from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.

** Talking with Delegates at the Democratic Convention!

As a lifelong Democrat, it was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and meet new friends at the Democratic Convention earlier this month!

I also enjoyed getting to know delegates from across our region at my Wine Down mixers before the convention. Thank you to my friends, Jesse Loren and Christina Gilpin-Hayes, for hosting!
