Last night, the military confirmed that the Trump administration will deploy another 2,000 National Guard troops to Los Angeles.

Let me be clear: that does not make LA safer — and it’s unjust to our troops.

Right now, there are no protestors in downtown LA. Deploying soldiers in an American city on U.S. citizens only causes more chaos and fear in our community.

But it’s also an abuse of our National Guard, who will have to leave their jobs, their families, and their schools to do… nothing.
