Dear A.,

Israel is continuing its campaign to destroy Iran's nuclear and ballistic missile programs, with the military reporting that 60 Air Force fighters hit 20 strategic sites across the country. Among the targets were factories that produce anti-tank missiles that are used to supply terror proxies across the region.

In his daily email to subscribers, It’s Noon in Israel (

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir recently told Israeli troops: "Right now, at this very moment, we’re hunting surface-to-surface missiles; our UAVs are out there, our fighter jets are out there — it’s absolutely extraordinary. 1,500 kilometers from Israel, we are hunting down and destroying those surface-to-surface missiles."

Much of the military equipment Israel is using to confront Iran is purchased with the vital annual security aid that AIPAC lobbies for each year. The ability for Israel to acquire the most advanced fighter jets and capabilities is a byproduct of our work with Democrats and Republicans in Congress.

As Israel took action, it also confronted several waves of ballistic missile attacks that were notably smaller in size than the initial attacks from Iran over the weekend.

The IDF announced today that Iran has launched over 400 ballistic missiles and about 1,000 drones at Israel since last Friday.

Israeli missile defense systems have intercepted all but about 30 of these missiles, and remarkably, none of the 1,000 drones have reached their targets.

Were it not for the defense capabilities we’ve lobbied for over many years, the scale of death and destruction in Israel would be unimaginable. Our work together is saving countless lives.

President Trump reiterated today his strong support for Israel’s operations and the progress the Jewish state has made, saying he advised Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “to keep going.” The president also reaffirmed that he will not allow Iran to develop a nuclear weapon, and that all options are on the table.

"For 40 years, [Iran's] been saying death to America, death to Israel... if you go back 15 years I was saying we cannot let Iran get a nuclear weapon... I mean it more now," Trump added.

New polling from CNN today shows that 79% of Americans believe Iran cannot be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon. That includes 79% of Democrats and 83% of Republicans.

Polling also found that a plurality of Americans support U.S. airstrikes to prevent Iran from developing a nuclear weapon, including 69% of Republicans. Watch the clip below:

We must continue to ensure the United States stands with our ally and provides it the offensive and defense resources it needs to take the fight to its enemies and defend its families.

NEW AIPAC MEMO
Why Israel Had to Act

Last week, Israel launched a military operation to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to attack its increasingly dangerous ballistic missile arsenal.

Israel’s actions were necessitated by four primary factors: First, intelligence demonstrating Iran’s rapidly advancing nuclear program, including weaponization activity. Second, Iran’s refusal to reach a negotiated agreement. Third, Iran’s rapid expansion of ballistic missile production. And finally, the closing of the window of opportunity to act.
