[Family Policy Alliance Logo <[link removed] Policy Alliance>] Children Deserve Help, Not Harm Dear Friend, Today marks a major turning point—not just for Family Policy Alliance and our allies, but for children across the nation.
After eight years of [hard, faithful work to expose and stop the harm of gender transition procedures on kids <[link removed]>] , the U.S. Supreme Court has just upheld the right of states to protect children from these irreversible medical experiments . Two-thirds of the Court stood firmly for common sense and compassion—affirming the laws of half the country that say “no” to harming children in the name of ideology.
Keep reading to learn more about what this means and then see below a special edition of the House to Home podcast where our team unpacks this ruling a little further. [Grace Youngson and FPA director of public policy joseph kohm <[link removed]>] We’ve said it from the beginning: no child—especially not a 4-year-old!—should be led into life-altering surgeries or hormones. [De-transitioners <[link removed]>] have bravely stepped forward, telling their heartbreaking stories of regret. They were just kids when adults encouraged them to take steps they could never fully undo.
This ruling puts a stake in the ground:
Our laws can and should protect children from harm —even when the culture tries to call it “care.”
And that’s not all. In the ruling, Chief Justice Roberts also clearly stated that “only biological women can become pregnant.” That might seem obvious—but just a few years ago, a Supreme Court nominee (now Associate Justice) couldn’t even define the word “woman” —despite being one herself. This shows just how far things have shifted, and we believe that’s because people like you have been standing firm and speaking truth with grace, even when it’s unpopular.
[map of the united states with 25 states highlighted in blue that have passed Help Not Harm Laws <[link removed]>] And right now, we’re still waiting on one more major ruling: the Supreme Court is about to decide whether states can require age verification for pornographic websites—another chance to protect children from devastating exposure to adult content online. Once again, FPA and our allies are at the forefront.
This is a milestone moment—and it belongs to all of us. Your prayers, [your gifts <[link removed]>] , your encouragement—they’ve carried us through this battle to this point. While we know the work isn’t finished, we can pause today to thank God for His faithfulness and for this victory. And tomorrow, we will keep pressing forward because children in 25 more states still need our help— [will you stand up for them with us <[link removed]>] ?
Thank you for partnering with us—for truth, for children, and for a nation where God is honored, religious freedom flourishes, families thrive, and life is cherished.
With deep gratitude,
