John,

Donald Trump just approved the expansion of a coal mine in Montana, citing an “energy emergency” and cutting short the environmental review process that would normally take place.

Let’s set the story straight: This coal isn’t even going to power American homes. Nor will it be processed in American plants. It’s being mined here, then exported to foreign countries. And we’re supposed to call that “energy independence”? Please.

The real way to solve an energy emergency would be by investing in affordable, clean energy – not doubling down on dangerous and expensive fossil fuels. We’re done with the fossil fuel agenda, John. Will you chip in to help SEEC stop this plan and build a clean energy economy instead? [[link removed]]

They’re not solving a problem, John. They’re creating one.

We should be investing in next-generation energy and union jobs, not dragging our economy backwards to bail out coal executives and polluters. SEEC PAC is proud to support lawmakers who understand that the future of energy is clean, efficient, and built right here at home. But we can’t do this alone.

John, will you pitch in to help us support SEEC members in Congress who are fighting for the clean energy future we deserve? [[link removed]]
