BREAKING: A federal trial is now underway to determine whether Texas’ redistricting maps illegally discriminate against voters of color

President Trump’s political team is pressuring Texas Republicans to redraw redistricting maps in a blatant attempt to rig elections and cling onto their fragile House majority.

If they succeed, they could create 4 to 5 new Republican seats by slicing up Democratic districts - silencing voters of color and intentionally diluting Democratic voices.

And it’s not the first time: in every decade since the Voting Rights Act was enacted in 1965, Texas has been found by a federal court to have violated federal law by illegally discriminating against voters of color.

Now they’re doing it again,and the stakes couldn’t be higher.
