Seaweed Stories Takes Flight – Now streaming on Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines

 This World Oceans Month, Seaweed Stories is taking to the skies.

We're proud to share that our award-winning short film, narrated by Forest Whitaker and directed by Jake Sumner, is now streaming as a featured title on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.

Since 2017, Lonely Whale has collaborated with Alaska Airlines in support of its sustainability efforts, from launching #StrawlessSkies to #FillBeforeYouFly. 

We’re thrilled to celebrate both airlines’ sustainability commitments and new combined route network with Seaweed Stories now available in-flight — spotlighting seaweed as a solution.

Seaweed Stories has already reached over 2.6k+ in-person viewers through festivals and events — and, with this new partnership, we’re just lifting off.
