Support the work of some of the most courageous organizers today
|
Dear Friend,
Right now, in the U.S., corporate executives and the politicians in their pockets have established a reckless regime run by and for billionaires -- and against the rest of us. They’re putting our lives in danger, throwing families into crisis, and attacking our freedoms and our futures.
And with the latest budget that is currently being debated in Congress, they are planning to give huge tax cuts to the rich and cut vital services that are meant to meet our needs and care for our communities.
Since our inception, Corporate Accountability has campaigned in partnership with organizations and people in the Global South and the U.S. who are directly impacted by corporate abuse. Our campaigns consist of a vibrant, diverse group of organizations and people who have one thing in common: a deep commitment to confronting corporate power.
But the dismantling of the federal government and concerns about the Trump administration targeting U.S. foundations has, and will, impact millions of people in the U.S. and worldwide. In fact, I’m already having conversations with both funders who are pausing their giving for the rest of 2025, and campaign allies who have had their funding pulled, programs frozen, and important work stopped due to the uncertainties of operating under such a hostile environment.
That’s why we’re raising money for the Movement Solidarity Fund, our resource-sharing program that provides grants to some of the allies we’ve long partnered with on our life-saving campaigns. We reject the idea that we need to compete with each other to be successful or have thriving communities. But by connecting members like you to our allies across the movement, we know we can create greater impact together.
It's more critical than ever to keep supporting our U.S. and global allies who are campaigning for justice on all fronts. Because every inch of ground that is lost on climate justice, racial justice, and water justice globally in the coming years not only further harms people and communities, but it also serves to support corporate bottom lines. So will you make a gift to the Movement Solidarity Fund today?

You can confront corporate power in the U.S. and around the world

In 2020, we established the Movement Solidarity Fund to raise the critical resources our long-time movement partners need to carry out their work. Through small grants, these courageous organizers are achieving powerful victories on water, climate, food, tobacco and racial justice issues. And they’re doing it in the U.S. and around the world.
Since the fund’s establishment, we’ve moved more than $5 million for our allies on the front lines of corporate abuse and distributed grants to over 60 organizations. And right now, alongside other smaller granters like Amazon Watch and SAGE Fund, we’re calling on foundations and philanthropy to have the courage to step-up and meet this critical moment.1
The organizing that our allies lead is increasingly necessary and difficult, especially as we accelerate toward an authoritarian government in the U.S. They are also smaller organizations that may not necessarily have the same access to funding or resources that bigger organizations like ours do. But they’re not giving up -- and neither are we.
Programs like Corporate Accountability’s Movement Solidarity Fund can help lessen some of the pressures our allies are facing due to the current U.S. administration. But we can’t do it without your support.
Make a gift to the Movement Solidarity Fund now. Together, we can continue building the people power needed to keep confronting corporate power and challenge this reckless regime.

Corporate Accountability stops transnational corporations from devastating democracy, trampling human rights, and destroying our planet. We are building a world rooted in justice where corporations answer to people, not the other way around -- a world where every person has access to clean water, healthy food, a safe place to live, and the opportunity to reach their full human potential.
