Trump has our nation on the precipice of another war in the Middle East, treating the terrifying prospect for the American people - and the entire world - as if it were some game:

The echoes of the Iraq War still haunt our nation, 4,419 US soldiers and hundreds of thousands of Iraqi civilians lost their lives to the senseless war, and many more are physically and mentally scarred for the rest of their life. It cost our nation trillions of dollars that could have gone to building schools, paving roads, providing healthcare, or solving homelessness.

But war with Iran wouldn’t just be another Iraq War, it would be far, far worse:

Iran has roughly double the population of Iraq and the largest military in the Middle East. And unlike Iraq Russia, China, and other Middle Eastern countries are likely to aid Iran’s defense. A conflict with Iran not only has the likelihood of sparking a massive regional conflict, but potentially a third World War.

This is not a game, Mr. President.

The majority of the American people are against another war in the Middle East. Another foreign war will spark massive backlash against Donald Trump and Republicans. Even if Trump is talked down from the ledge, the American people (especially independents who supported him for his promise of no new foreign wars) will remember how casually he treated the prospect of starting a World War.

Dems have a massive opportunity and can achieve a historic midterm victory that will cripple the Trump administration and crater the Republican Party - but only if we contest Republicans in every single race across the country, like Democrats did during Bush’s presidency.
