News from Congressman Bill Foster

Dear Friend,

Over the weekend, I was proud to stand alongside so many of you at No Kings Day protests against the Trump Administration across IL-11. There were at least seven peaceful demonstrations happening throughout our eight-county district, and I had the chance to stop by three of them in Geneva, Naperville, and Warrenville.

While Trump chose to turn the U.S. Army’s anniversary into a birthday celebration for himself, people of all ages turned out in droves at protests across the country to stand up for our democracy and reject authoritarianism. Coming together peacefully and using our unified voice to demand change and build a better future is what makes America great—no dictator-style fanfare necessary.

Thank you to everyone who marched, volunteered, and raised their voice. I know that these are unsettling times, but you are not alone. Through newsletters like these, my social media channels, and town halls, I will continue to keep you informed on what’s happening in Washington. As long as I’m your representative in Washington, I’ll be with you every step of the way in defense of our democracy.

Sincerely,
