Now, we’ve only got 10 days left to make up that margin. I know lots of us are on vacation this month, and that’s partly why we’re still behind. But that also means catching back up is a challenge -- and Gerry is counting on us to meet our goal.

CLOSE THE GAP: CHIP IN NOW

Gerry isn’t the only one paying attention either: The press, the GOP, dark money groups -- they’ll all be looking to our grassroots fundraising numbers as a measure of the strength of our campaign.

They also know this is a rough month. They also know that Gerry just came out in favor of impeachment, that he’s standing strong against the NRA’s intransigence on guns, and that we’re doing our part to build towards a blue wave up and down the ballot in Virginia this fall.

They have all the incentive in the world to try changing that narrative, and I don’t want Gerry to see the hand-wringing headlines and right-wing rallying cries that’ll follow if we fall short of our goal. So, can I count on you to come through on this one?
