Steven Horsford will introduce the Break the Cycle of Violence Act, landmark legislation that would provide $5 billion for community violence intervention (CVI) programs and $1.5 billion for youth workforce development programs over 8 years. If signed into law, the Break the Cycle of Violence Act would provide the largest proposed investment in community-led strategies at the federal level! At a time when CVI programs are under attack, join us in building support for this critical legislation.

On Tuesday, June 24, Community Justice and our Protect CVI partners are hosting a National Day of Advocacy in support of the Break the Cycle of Violence Act. On the National Day of Advocacy, meet in-district or virtually with congressional offices and urge them to cosponsor the bill! Now more than ever, Members of Congress in every state and congressional district need to hear from their constituents about the importance of CVI in our public safety ecosystem.
