John,
June marks Gun Violence Awareness Month — but in the U.S., every month and every day leaves another family and community devastated.
In the first 169 days of this year, there have already been 162 mass shootings.

For every shooting, we’ve grown accustomed to what has become a repetitive process that plays out in cities and towns across the country.
But we don't have to live like this, John.
Gun violence isn’t inevitable — it’s a policy failure. And we know what the solutions are:
✅ Universal background checks
✅ Red flag laws
✅ Community-based violence intervention programs
✅ Banning assault weapons
✅ Holding the gun lobby and industry accountable
None of these policies are radical. In fact, common-sense gun regulations are popular across the U.S. — even among Republicans.
It’s about damn time our elected leaders heed the call for action and offer real solutions, not just empty thoughts and prayers.
This month, we’re supporting the grassroots organizations who are on the frontlines of America’s gun violence epidemic — and they could use your help, John.
A future free of gun violence isn’t out of reach. With real action, we can save lives and protect our communities. Please pitch in a split contribution of $20.25 or anything you can spare today to support the grassroots groups who are trying to make this future a reality.
Your contribution will be split between the following organizations: Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund, Giffords, and March For Our Lives Action Fund.
