Dear Friend –
ICYMI, Vermont just signed the Age-Appropriate Design Code into law, requiring Big Tech to make kids’ accounts private by default, limit the data their platforms can collect, and implement safer designs for young people. [1]
This law is proof that our state lawmakers have the power to protect kids online. Modeled after similar bills in California and Maryland, Vermont is the latest state to put kids’ safety first, rejecting Big Tech’s profit grabs.
