Precious Life have exposed the Northern Ireland MPs who supported the latest extreme abortion legislation in Westminster (17 June).

379 MPs voted in favour of an amendment (NC1) to decriminalise abortion in the Crime and Policing Bill. 

137 MPs voted against the "NC1" amendment, including Northern Ireland MPs from the DUP and TUV, and Alex Easton and Robin Swann. However, SDLP MPs Colum Eastwood and Claire Hanna supported killing babies in the womb by voting for the NC1 amendment. Claire Hanna was also an actual co-signatory to this cruel abortion amendment, and personally signed it. The Alliance Party’s Sorcha Eastwood was also a co-signatory to another extreme amendment (NC20) that would have legalised 'sex-selection' abortions - killing female unborn babies when a girl is not wanted.

This vote is a disgrace. These MPs have turned their backs on the most vulnerable members of our society — our unborn children. They are not fit to hold public office and should resign!

This barbaric legislation will allow the killing of babies in the womb who are older than 24 weeks, by "Do-It-Yourself" abortions, for any reason, right up to the moment of birth.

The NC1 amendment is the most radical pro-abortion shift in UK law since the 'Abortion Act' was passed in 1967. Now in 2025, almost 700 babies are killed EVERY DAY by abortion in the UK. Although the Abortion Act led to virtually abortion-on-demand for babies up to 24 weeks old, there were still some legal restrictions to killing a baby in the womb. Now, even the few remaining restrictions are being swept away.

This amendment will result in even more babies killed - right up to birth - and it will not be treated as a crime.

Precious Life urge voters across Britain to hold their MPs accountable. The next General Election must be a turning point. We call on every pro-life citizen to stand up, speak out, and ensure only candidates who defend life are elected to Westminster.

During his residency, Dr. Robinson received abortion training while on the obstetrics and gynecology service. Performing abortion requires so little effort, everyone was doing it, and they didn’t seem to have a problem with it, so why should he? Money became a motivator, especially since the pay was substantial and it was quite evident how abortion training could be profitable.

But in 1986, Dr. Robinson says he was convicted by God’s Word, which he says exposed the living lie he led killing unborn babies. He is now a particularly loud and powerful voice for the voiceless. He has also answered the call to encourage men and fathers to live their lives in a godly manner and to serve as mentors and role models. He seizes opportunities to go against today’s culture and challenges men to assume their God ordained position as spiritual leaders, protectors and providers for their families and children.

He speaks with his wife, Daphne, and together, Dr. and Mrs. Robinson collaborate and serve internationally in family, life, and pregnancy care ministry, perinatal palliative care case management coordination, abortion recovery, and reconciliation ministry, as well as medical missions.
