Today at the Supreme Court, we secured an important victory. The Trump Administration’s attempt to end DACA was blocked and now hundreds of thousands of young people are protected.
But our fight isn’t over. President Trump can continue to act to take away Dreamers’ protections. It is time for an enduring solution.
The House passed the American Dream and Promise Act over a year ago. It provides a pathway to citizenship, but Mitch McConnell hasn’t even brought it up for a vote.
If we’re going to reform the law, we need all the help we can get in the House and Senate.
In the weeks ahead, we will be in touch with ways you can help in targeted races here in California and around the country.
In the meantime, please take a moment to check your voter registration and make sure everything is up to date. And please ask your friends, neighbors, and family to do the same.
We cannot take anything for granted — and we will need every vote to win in November.
