Friend,

As the summer starts to heat up, I wanted to reach out about why your continued support for Eric Sorensen is so important.

Eric’s roots in our district run deep, and we can trust him to continue representing our values in Washington. That’s why I was so proud to endorse him as my successor.

But from my own decade of election cycles, I know the strain that comes with our district being the true battleground seat of Illinois, so I’m sympathetic to what Eric’s going through.

Once again, our district has been tabbed as ground zero in the fight over the House. And from experience, I know big outside spending from Republicans is coming – soon.

We have to protect our district, friend. So I’m making an urgent request: will you contribute $3 to his campaign today? He needs an extra lift before this week’s critical FEC deadline.

What I appreciate most about Eric is that even though he’s made it to Washington, he's still that trusted, hometown weatherman running a people-powered campaign powered by individual donors and his neighbors.

And I’m confident that Eric has the goods to continue to deliver for our district for years – but he’s counting on contributions from supporters like you.

I know that when we come together, we can rise up against the millions that national Republicans pour into IL-17 every cycle.

So ahead of his deadline, I’m asking you to consider giving $3 or more today to keep this seat blue.
