Trump is openly threatening to launch a massive direct U.S. attack
against Iran. He has issued terrifying threats demanding the entire
population of the city of Tehran -- 10 million people -- flee their
homes, and mused on social media about assassinating Iran's head of
state. This war would lead to enormous suffering and death among
Iranians and others in region, and also likely lead to large numbers
of U.S. casualties -- not to mention the enormous wealth that will be
taken away from meeting human needs to feed the war machine. This
could engulf the entire Middle East or even the whole world. In these
critical days and hours, all people who oppose the war machine
need to be in the streets!
Protests across the country will take place TODAY, June 18, as part
of a national day of action. This day of protest is being initially
sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition, National Iranian American Council,
Palestinian Youth Movement, The People's Forum, and others.
