Team, we saw an interesting study, and we wanted to talk about it.

The Center for American Women and Politics (CAWP) released a recent study that analyzed campaign finance data for 2024 elections by candidate gender. Unsurprisingly, it found key differences in political fundraising between women and men candidates.

Women running for the U.S. House received more of their funds from small contributions compared to men, who more often were able to self-finance their campaigns.

The average donation to male congressional candidates was HIGHER than the average donation to female congressional candidates.

Male donors vastly outspent female donors in the total amount contributed to congressional races. Men contributed 63% of all money contributed, women contributed just 37%.
As we know, women donors are much more likely to support women candidates – which puts women candidates at a serious disadvantage when women are donating less frequently.
