This week is about celebrating the things we love about public transport, active and shared travel - and a picture speaks a thousand words! So today, we're asking for your scenic rail views and your bus stop selfies!

Share your scenic rail view

One of the best things about travelling by train is enjoying the view rolling by. Together with Scenic Rail Britain, we're giving away a £100 rail voucher in our Scenic Rail View competition. Just share your photo from the train window on either Instagram, X or Bluesky, with the hashtag #ScenicRailView, to be in with a chance of winning.

There's no prize for this one - just the chance to share your love for your local bus! 

Buses do a vital job, and millions of people start their journey at a bus stop every day. If you're a proud bus passenger, share your bus stop selfie by responding to this Facebook post, or this X post, or this Bluesky post, or by tagging @bettertransport on Instagram.

I know this email is rather focused on social media, which of course not everybody uses. But there are lots of other ways you can get involved with Better Transport Week, like coming to a real-life event.
