our prosperity, it’s a privilege to spend every day working for the good
people of Maryland.  

I’ve been in public service for almost three decades, and I truly love
what I do.
But if there’s one thing about it that really isn't my cup of tea, it’s
asking you for money. 

I didn’t like asking you for money when I ran for Senate (just ask my
campaign team), and I don’t like it any better now. 

Ultimately, though, your support allows us to keep a pipeline of critical
information flowing directly to Marylanders. 

I will do whatever it takes to ensure the people of Maryland are
prosperous, safe, and well-informed, including my least favorite thing:
asking you for money.
