[link removed] [[link removed]]This is California Senator Alex Padilla after being forced to the ground and put in handcuffs by federal officials.
Senator Padilla was facedown on the floor in the hallway outside a press conference, all because he wanted to ask a question to the Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem. This administration deploys the U.S. Military to silence protestors.
They called for the arrest of an elected Governor for challenging their lawlessness.
And now they handcuffed a U.S. Senator for asking a question.
There is absolutely no question that organizing has never been more important than at this moment. "We're not going away," she bizarrely states. "We are going to liberate [Los Angeles] from the burdensome leadership, mayor and governor."
She promised to "liberate" California from its duly elected Governor only days after Donald Trump called for the arrest of Gov. Gavin Newsom. And then when Senator Alex Padilla dared to stand up to her, he was slammed to the ground and handcuffed .
This isn’t normal. This is outrageous, dictatorial, and shameful. Trump and his cronies are out of control. That’s why we aren’t just sitting back and being upset. We are working to scale up organizing programs up and down our state, but need grassroots support to stand up these events as fast as we want to. Will you pitch in now? [[link removed]]
