Dear A.,
Israeli Ambassador to the United States Yechiel Leiter reaffirmed Israel’s war objectives today, saying "our goal is very clear: that they cannot have a nuclear weapon, and they cannot have ballistic missiles that can be shot into our population centers."
The IDF continued to press forward with strikes across Iran to destroy nuclear infrastructure, IRGC sites, and ballistic missile capabilities.
Israel has now destroyed

more than 40% of Iran's missile launchers, and last night was the first night since Operation Rising Lion began that no Israelis were killed in missile attacks.
Israel also successfully targeted the Iranian military's chief of staff who had been recently appointed to the role after Israel killed his predecessor on the first day of the war.
Much attention has turned to Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, the heavily fortified site beneath a mountain. Israel's national security advisor

said today that the ongoing operation "will not end without damaging the Fordow nuclear facility," adding that "the plan is blue and white, including all elements of the offensive," indicating that America will not be involved.

Meanwhile, President Trump today held a meeting with his national security team in the Situation Room as they assessed the ongoing operation and what role, if any, American forces may take in the offensive campaign.
Posting on Truth Social, the president said that, "We now have complete and total control of the skies over Iran. Iran had good sky trackers and other defensive equipment, and plenty of it, but it doesn't compare to American made, conceived, and manufactured 'stuff.' Nobody does it better than the good ol' USA."
He later

In an

interview with Jewish Insider, CNN's Scott Jennings speaks about his experience on the ground in Israel as Iranian ballistic missiles struck the country.
It was Jennings' first-ever visit to the Jewish state, which he traveled to on a trip organized by AIPAC's affiliated charitable organization, the American Israel Education Foundation (AIEF).
"Not only did I get to fulfill my mission of understanding deeply the horrors of Oct. 7, but being here watching the war unfold against Iran, I feel like I am here at the beginning of the war to defend Western civilization," he said. "I think this has to end with a complete annihilation of Iran’s ability to make a nuclear weapon."
As missiles rained down, targeting Israeli civilians, Jennings said he was impressed with the Israeli people's unity and strength: "I get the feeling everyone is resolved to endure whatever sacrifices they have to in order to put an end to this existential threat once and for all."
