It’s been a little over a month since we kicked off my “Give ‘Em Hell” town hall tour, and I’ve had the exciting opportunity to meet with Oregonians across the district and hear their concerns and insights.
After my fifth stop yesterday, I wanted to reach out and share the top three things I’m hearing:
- People are concerned about their Social Security and making sure they’re getting their checks on time. They’ve seen how Trump and DOGE have gutted the Social Security Administration, and they’re concerned about how this might affect the benefits they rely on.
- Our city leaders are saying the federal government promised them money so they could upgrade our roads and our water systems, and they haven’t seen this funding. And it’s crucial for our communities that we deliver this funding.
- People are concerned about Medicaid for their kids and making sure our kids with special needs get everything they need. They’re worried about Medicaid and IDEA funding and concerned about the Department of Education being gutted.
I’m taking these concerns back to D.C. and doing EVERYTHING I can to elevate Oregonians’ voices and ensure our communities are receiving the things they need.
I’m working everyday to fight for our communities and push back on the Trump administration’s dangerous policies — and I need your support. Please, will you chip in $5, $25, or more to help me continue my work for Oregonians in Congress?
Thanks for your support,
Janelle
