Happy Pride Month, John!

It is such a joy to spend June in celebration of the LGBTQ+ community. We celebrate the activists and advocates who got us this far and honor how much further there is to go.

This month is a celebration to refuel and recenter for the fight ahead. It’s no secret that Republicans wish to take us back to a time of hatred and intolerance.

This year, 850 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been filed so far in 2025. There is so much work to be done to rid our country of such hatred and ignorance.

The current administration will try to tear us down and apart. We can’t give them an inch.

We must demonstrate the power of inclusivity. It’s the LGBTQ+ community’s strength and resiliency that we celebrate this Pride month.

Together, we will fight to protect the LGBTQ+ communities, and together we will win.

So with joy and resolve to never stop fighting, I wish you a wonderful Pride Month!
