Tell Congress to Pass the Iran War Powers Resolution

Earlier today, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) introduced the Iran War Powers Resolution ([link removed]) in the House of Representatives to prohibit U.S. involvement in the Israel-Iran war. Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced a companion resolution in the Senate.

It appears President Donald Trump is on the edge of bringing the country into another devastating war in the Middle East, despite bipartisan opposition. We encourage you to immediately call your members of Congress and tell them you do not want our country fighting in Israel's war of aggression.

Call (202) 224-3121 to reach the United States Capitol switchboard, which will connect you to your members of Congress.

In his 2021 book, America and Iran: A History, 1720 to the Present, ([link removed]) scholar John Ghazvinian notes the U.S. and Iran have “far more in common than either cares to admit" and that the relationship between the two countries doesn't have to be acrimonious. He also explores the decades-long effort by the Israel lobby to foment conflict between the U.S. and Iran. We can't let the lobby march us into another war. Call your leaders now!
