These are Minnesota’s values
In times like these, my faith keeps me going.
But our faith can’t start and end with thoughts and prayers. It has to be deeper than that.
The Gospel teaches us to love our neighbor as ourselves — that justice is faith lived out loud. We need to build a fairer, safer community for everyone, not just ourselves.
We need to welcome the stranger.
We need to feed the hungry.
We need to visit the sick.
We need to protect the vulnerable.
I’m a Democrat because of my faith — it shapes everything I do. It’s why I’ve spent my career fighting for policies that reflect our shared humanity — housing, health care, education, clean air and water, reproductive freedom.
In a moment when so much is on the line, these are the values we need in the US Senate. We need more love, and less hate and division.
