In November 2023, I first wrote to you about my friend and colleague, New York State Assemblymember Zohran Mamdani, when I joined him at a hunger strike in front of the White House to oppose the genocide in Palestine.

Now, Zohran is running to be the next Mayor of New York City—and he’s polling within single digits of former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, who’s on the legal team defending Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu from war crimes.

The Democratic primary election is just one week away and early voting is underway now.

As a State Assemblymember, Zohran has fought for the working class and introduced first-in-the-nation legislation to stop NY charities from funding Israeli war crimes.

His bold vision for NYC mayor includes universal free childcare, fast and free buses, freezing rent for more than two million rent-stabilized tenants, and starting nonprofit city-owned grocery stores that sell affordable groceries. Since the mayor of NYC represents more people than most senators, he would set precedents nationwide.

His main opponent is Andrew Cuomo, who has MILLIONS pouring in from his billionaire-backed super PAC and Zohran’s getting drowned out on the airwaves.

With early voting underway and just one week until Election Day, Zohran Mamdani’s official support PAC, New Yorkers for Lower Costs, needs our help now.
