Can’t even believe I’m writing this, friend, but the GOP is figuring out ways to make this budget they’re trying to force down our throats even worse.

Senator Mike Lee, while he wasn’t too busy tweeting conspiracies about a politically motivated assassination in Minnesota, just rolled out a plan to sell off millions of acres of protected federal lands as part of this massive tax break bill.

We’re talking about Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, masses of lands in Alaska, Arizona, Utah, the pacific northwest, and more. This would be a land grab the likes of which we have never seen in our lifetimes.

Who wins here? Billionaires who want to build mansions on land we all cherish.

Who loses? Basically everybody else.

Seriously. We all lose millions of acres of land that was entrusted to us by previous generations. Our children and our grandchildren lose access to those lands for good. Veterans lose a critical resource in dealing with their PTSD.

And for what — to lower the price tag of trillions of dollars in tax breaks for the wealthiest people in the country? Hell no. Nobody wants this.

This has to stop, and I’m asking you for your help.
