Trump approval rating: New poll finds majority of Americans disapprove
Donald Trump is as unpopular with the American people as ever. A new NBC poll shows that 45% of Americans approve of the way Trump is handling his job as president, while a whopping 55% disapprove. Americans are becoming aware of just how dangerous Trump’s attacks on the federal government, Medicaid, SNAP, and other vital programs and institutions are. |

Representatives on the Record |
| Representative Mariannette Miller-Meeks (202) 225-6576
Does Rep. Miller-Meeks support adding the clean energy credits back into the budget bill? If she does, why did she vote ‘Yes’ on a version without them? Iowa’s economy is already on the rocks. We can’t afford to harm one of the fastest-growing industries in our state. What is she doing to make sure her constituents aren’t hurt by higher electricity costs if the credits don’t go through? Why isn’t she fighting in Congress for this issue?

Hey folks! Rita Hart here. |
It was great seeing so many people show up to the protests on Saturday. The patriotic Americans that stood up across the nation sent a clear message to the White House; we’re here, we’re millions strong, and we won’t allow our rights to be trampled on. |
The No Kings protests may have ended this weekend, but IDP’s efforts to strengthen our party here at home continue. I am hoping that our Story Workshops and VAN Training will attract plenty of new volunteers, people who will become great messengers and organizers in the elections to come. |
If you’d like to attend one of these trainings or workshops you can find the event details in the Take Action section above. You can also sign up to volunteer with the Iowa Democratic Party by clicking here, and check out our events calendar by clicking here.
