Sister District teams from Sacramento to Brooklyn were out in force this weekend, taking a stand against the growing threats to our freedoms.

These powerful protests are where we channel our grief, rage, and hope into collective action. But real transformation happens afterward, when we stay in the fight, engage our communities, and keep doing the everyday work that protests alone can’t finish.

At Sister District, we’re building long-term power in state legislatures—our best defense against Trump’s agenda and the GOP’s assault on our rights. Since 2016, we’ve helped elect 146 Democrats and raise over $27 million to support state-level campaigns.

Our work doesn’t stop with one protest. We organize year-round to train local leaders, elect progressive candidates, and strengthen the infrastructure that makes wins possible.
