PROVIDING AN UPDATE ON HOSPITAL CAPACITY IN TEXAS
As we continue to combat COVID-19 and open the economy, we remain laser-focused on maintaining Texas' abundant hospital capacity.
We are in the middle of a short time period where we are co-existing with COVID-19. This will be the case for a while longer until we have medicines to treat people who get COVID-19 and to prevent people from getting the virus. Until that time comes, we need all Texans to make smart and safe decisions to prevent the spread of COVID-19. That includes: - Washing your hands frequently - Practicing social distancing - Wearing a face mask We all have a responsibility for our own health and for the health of our loved ones, friends, and neighbors. The more Texans protect their own health, the safer our state will be and the more we will be able to open up for business. |
