This morning, I was kicked out of an ICE facility in Chicago. They called the police on me for trespassing. 

John, I’m an immigrant. My children are first generation Americans.

Every day I read stories and watch videos of innocent people being violently detained and uprooted from their lives without consequence. 

As a human being, I’m sickened by what's going on in our country. 

As a Congressman, I’m livid Kristi Noem and Donald Trump are carrying out these attacks on innocent people – and doing it in the shadows with 0 oversight. It’s my JOB to do this. 

This far-right authoritarian take-over is breaking apart families and putting lives in danger and I won’t stand for it. 

That’s why I’m running for the U.S. Senate. We need leaders with a backbone to FIGHT BACK against these attacks and stop Donald Trump before it’s too late.
