Donald Trump is targeting Job Corps, the nation’s largest free, residential career training and education program for low-income young people ages 16 to 24.

Let’s be clear: Job Corps works. It’s been around for decades, has bipartisan support, and changes lives. It gives young folks the tools they need to build a future with real skills, real opportunities, and a real path to the middle class.

But now, it’s on the chopping block. Trump’s budget would gut funding for Job Corps and, unless Congress steps in, the program could be paused entirely at the end of this month. That means shuttered centers, lost jobs, and dreams deferred for thousands of young people across the country.

This isn’t about tightening belts. This is about sabotaging opportunity — all while Trump and his MAGA allies hand out tax breaks to billionaires. This is beyond reckless. That's why we're calling on you to join Dwight in saying: Hands OFF Job Corps.
