This is what fascism looks like in America:
Brad Lander — New York City Comptroller and a declared mayoral candidate — was just arrested by ICE agents.
His crime? Standing up for a legal immigrant outside a federal courthouse.
He refused to let ICE agents disappear a man without a judicial warrant — so they arrested him.
Caught on video:
Lander kept his hand on the detainee’s shoulder and demanded to see a judge’s signature.
ICE agents responded: “Take him in.”
And they did.
This wasn’t law enforcement.
This was political suppression, carried out by Trump’s unaccountable federal enforcers.
