You might not know me, but I'm Blake Miguez—a Christian, father, small business owner, State Senator, and lifelong Louisianan.

Now, I'm running to represent the state I love and call home in the United States Senate.

The people of Louisiana deserve someone who will never stop fighting for their values, family, and future.

As your Senator, I'll always put Louisiana and Louisianans first.

But so you can learn a little bit more about me, I'm asking you to give me two minutes of your time, so I can tell you why I'm running for U.S. Senate.

Running for Senate is one of the biggest honors of my lifetime.

I'm no Washington insider. My reasons for seeking statewide office are far different from most.

I grew up in the village of Loureauville, right on the St. Martin parish line, and I have always felt a deep connection to my community.

This bond drove my life from my days as an Eagle Scout through my educational journey at the local Catholic High School and later at Louisiana State University and Southern Law School.

If there is one thing you should know about me —- I'm a family man.

I am a dedicated husband and father, a steward of family and faith. Together with my wife, Ashley, a devoted special needs teacher, we foster a home grounded in empathy and service to others. I'm the father of three children, who remind me every day how important the fight for a brighter future is.

I have continued working in my family business, which is deeply rooted in the local community. This has allowed me to understand firsthand the challenges and opportunities facing our small businesses and industries - and keep close to my Louisiana roots.

And something crazy about me —- well, I'm a world-class shooter.

Yes, you read that right. I'm a World Champion competitive pistol shooter, a feat that landed me a recurring role on the History Channel's Top Shot TV series.

But my talent is far more than just trophies and TV time. I have offered self-defense training sessions for women and dedicated time to educating children on gun safety, affirming my commitment to using my skills for the betterment and protection of those around me.

I love my family and home — that's why I first decided to run for the Louisiana legislature!

I was elected to the Louisiana State House and then the Louisiana State Senate, and continue to be a strong Republican voice, consistently advocating for the conservative values of my district and the broader Louisiana community.

My unwavering leadership and commitment to conservative principles have earned me the trust of my constituents and colleagues.

Let me be clear - what we saw in November 2024 was a mandate, and we need people in Washington to support President Trump and the America First Agenda.

Louisiana needs a Patriot with a backbone, not someone like Bill Cassidy who always cowers down to the establishment and hates President Trump.
