John,

When you boil down what J.D. is fighting for, it’s all about equality, fairness, and justice.

That’s why he’s lifting up Black leaders right here in Iowa’s 4th district who are leading this charge for Black communities that face injustices and violence every single day.

These last few weeks, we’ve seen folks from all walks of life band together, take to the streets, and proclaim that Black lives matter. Each of us has the responsibility to acknowledge our own privileges, have tough conversations, and join in this movement for equality.

That's why tonight and tomorrow night, we'll be joining local Black leaders in online conversations on the importance of this moment and how to start the hard work of dismantling systemic racism and white supremacy in America.

And you can join us! Sign up for either (or both) of our virtual events below:

Black Lives Matter Discussion with Local Black Leaders: Tonight, 6 P.M. CT

J.D. with Iowa House Rep. Ross Wilburn: June 19th, 6 P.M. CT
Changing the status quo has never been easy, but it’s possible if we all join together.

In solidarity,

Adam
