Dear Health Advocates,

Last evening, the Senate Finance Committee released language for their version of the reconciliation bill. The bottom line is that Congressional leadership remains dead set on cutting Medicaid, the ACA, and other vital health care programs to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest. You can get a more detailed view of the bill language here.

The next few weeks are critical in our ability to draw attention to the additional harmful provisions in this Senate text. That's why we invite you to join Community Catalyst, Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP), Families USA, and NHeLP TODAY, Tuesday, June 17 at 4:00 p.m. ET to walk through the bill text, its impact, and next step strategies for health coverage. We hope to be joined by Senate staff as well to share some remarks. Register here.
