This is urgent: Trump is on the cusp of dragging the U.S. into Netanyahu’s
war against Iran, a move that would ignite catastrophic conflict and risk
countless American and Iranian lives.
Last night, Bernie Sanders introduced the No War Against Iran Act in the
Senate, and Ro Khanna introduced a bipartisan War Powers Resolution in the
House, to stop Trump in his tracks.
These critical bills would block any unauthorized military action by using
Congress’s full constitutional authority to cut off funding for war with
Iran – and we need huge, immediate pressure on Congress.

Article 1, Section 8, Clause 11 of the Constitution makes it crystal clear

authority is brought to bear to stop a disastrous descent into yet another
catastrophic Middle Eastern military adventure by prohibiting any funding
for military operations in or against Iran without explicit Congressional
authorization.

The stakes couldn't be higher. Over two decades of American military
entanglements have cost us more than $8 trillion, hundreds of thousands of
lives, and immeasurable suffering across the Middle East. We cannot let it
happen again.
Trump seems intent on repeating the deadly mistakes that sent the country
to war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the war hawks in D.C. are pushing
urgently to make U.S. involvement a foregone conclusion. It’s critical we
speak up loudly, clearly, and immediately before the drums of war drag the
country into yet another Middle East war.
