Friend,

For more than a year Israel has indiscriminately slaughtered 54,000 Palestinians with U.S. weapons and support, and despite condemnation from humanitarian aid and medical organizations across the world, our government has allowed the deadly flow of weapons to continue with no oversight or consequence. The blank-check support from the U.S. has enabled this genocide.

The Block the Bombs Act, led by Congresswoman Delia Ramirez, and cosponsored by 22 Members of Congress so far, is the first bill in congressional history to preemptively ban the sale of weapons to Israel. We encourage you to contact your representatives today and urge them to cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act to stop the deadly flow of weapons to Israel.

H.R. 3565, the Block the Bombs Act, would prohibit the sale or transfer of certain weapons to Israel unless Congress has explicitly authorized the transaction and Israel has provided written assurances that the use of the weaponry follows U.S. and international law.

Specifically, this bill would block the sale or transfer of: BLU-109 bunker busting bombs, MK80 series bombs, GBU-39 small diameter bomb variants, Joint Direct Attack Munitions (JDAMs), SPICE gliding bomb assemblies, 120mm tank ammunition, and 155mm artillery ammunition, including white phosphorus munitions. These are the very weapons used in Israel's genocidal campaign in Gaza.

Contact your Representative today and urge them to cosponsor the Block the Bombs Act and stop the deadly flow of weapons to Israel. [[link removed]]
