Team — I know my team sent along the news yesterday that the first poll conducted since the primary election shows that the governor’s race is a statistical tie.

I just wanted to quickly follow up and say two things:

1) I’ve spent my whole career running toward tough fights, and I promise you, I am going to work every single day to win this one — because the stakes for our families, our state, and our democracy are way too high for anything less.

2) This is going to be an incredibly competitive race, and every single vote will matter. We can’t take anything for granted, especially not with Donald Trump personally working to get my opponent elected.

Unlike my opponent, I’m not relying on Donald Trump or his network of MAGA billionaires to win this race for me. I’m counting on hardworking folks like you pitching in what you can, when you can.
