“It seemed as if our Blessed Mother was holding me in her arms.”
Those were the words of our Shepherd, Cardinal Burke after he regained consciousness. His Eminence was near death from COVID, in 2021.
Cardinal Burke said that the doctors called his sister, Mary, and told her that there was no hope, that she should be prepared for his death, “but oh, so many people were praying and invoking especially Our Lady of Guadalupe.”
Through Our Lady’s powerful intercession, His Eminence continues to bring Jesus to thousands of Catholics, has traveled to many countries to consecrate men to the royal priesthood, administers the Sacrament of Confirmation, hears confessions and preaches inspiring homilies. Cardinal Burke is ever faithful in offering Holy Masses and Rosaries for the intentions of the prayer warriors of Operation Storm Heaven. He prays for you and me daily.
On June 29, our Shepherd and Patron, Cardinal Burke will celebrate 50 years of ordination to the sacred priesthood, which is the feast day of Saints Peter and Paul. Also, this year Cardinal Burke is celebrating 30 years of consecration as a bishop and 15 years as a cardinal serving Holy Mother Church.
Then, the following day on June 30, His Eminence will celebrate his 77th birthday.
