Hate isn’t history. It’s happening. 

But together, we can do something about it. 

Harassed for simply being different. Assaulted for entering public spaces. Targeted solely because of their identity. These might sound like headlines describing hate-fuelled incidents from the past. But they’re happening to 2SLGBTQI people today and with increasing frequency.  

So, it’s time to act.  

This Pride Season, Egale has launched a new campaign, Hate Isn’t History, to bring to light the realities of anti-2SLGBTQI hate facing our communities, including how to spot that hate and how to combat it. 

It’s important today more than ever that we stand together in solidarity with 2SLGBTQI communities during Pride Season and beyond - because everyone deserves a future free from hate.
