We’ve got some major news, John.
Two of the nation’s top race raters have officially reclassified Iowa’s
U.S. Senate race.
It’s a small shift — from Safe Republican to Likely Republican — but it’s
a very positive sign nonetheless. We need to compete in states like Iowa
if we’re going to take back the Senate in 2026. And this move indicates
that election experts see our chances in Iowa looking better and better
every day.
One of the best ways you can help flip Iowa’s Senate seat is by making a
donation today to Iowa’s 2026 Democratic U.S. Senate Nominee Fund. This is
a fund that will become immediately available to Iowa’s 2026 Democratic
U.S. Senate nominee after they win the primary election — and it will play
a big role in making sure their campaign has the resources to get their
message in front of voters in the moments it matters most.
Don’t forget, Joni Ernst is who we’re up against. She’s the GOP Senator
who went viral last month for telling her constituents that “we all are
going to die” after they expressed concerns over GOP cuts to Medicaid at a
town hall.
We’ve got a real chance to take back Iowa’s U.S. Senate seat next year.
